Hi all,

We wanted to take a second to share with you what adventures we are up to in our daily lives and we’d love to hear what you are doing!  Inspire us!

What’s new on our plates -

It's a journey into the world of Whole 30, keeping carbs low and focusing on real food, leaving processed stuff behind.  Eating pescatarian often led into being food-lazy and getting the fast and easy carbs.  For the Whole 30, the limited potato addition to this lifestyle was welcome and it's always amazing to see the massive amounts of recipes and support online for this. I will share a recipe that we really enjoyed as well.

What’s new in our glass -

La Crema - Pinot Noir Rosé - 2019 Monterey

Lovely and delicate with berries and orange notes.

Elijah Craig Small Batch - Hands down the favorite bourbon to make an old fashioned with.  Orange and cherry flavors mix well and a tiny bit extra simple syrup makes this something you can sip on all night long.

Books we are reading/listening to -

The $100 Startup By GaChris Gillebeau - A good number of stories and challenges to a new entrepreneur on making it with little up-front money.  Not a lot of specifics to take away other than keep dreaming of ideas that people would want...with some hard work and a little luck, it might just take off.

TV series we are binging -

[UN]Well - Netflix-

An interesting take from multiple sides of ancient remedies that are still in use today.  It covers the efficacy of treatments, ways the products are offered and sold and the human interactions with them.  Some really eye-opening research being done around them as well that may call us to supplement today's medicine with traditional medicine from humanity's past.  Fascinating!

Quote of the month we love -

One last reminder -

Get ready to VOTE!  Take a minute to register if you are not.  Our government needs to hear the voice of every American this election!  Let your voice be heard!
